At Grand Valley Wood Products, our 40+ years of experience has taught us the value of exceeding our customer's expectations. We combine the latest technology with craftsmanship to produce a superior product. We understand the value of integrity, quality, timeliness, and communication. We continually strive to refine our internal processes in an effort to achieve customer satisfaction.
Grand Valley Wood Products was originally formed in 1981. GVWP was built under the leadership of co-owners, Terry Idema and Tom Herman who owned the company from 1985 - 2013. In 2013, Tom Herman retired from the company, turning over daily operations to Shawn Hager. Shortly after Tom retired, Shawn and Terry became business partners. Shawn and Terry were co-owners together from, 2014-2018. At the end of 2018, Terry Idema retired from his day to day responsibilities and Shawn will be carrying the torch into the future.
Shawn Hager (President/Owner) is deeply involved with the daily operations of GVWP. Shawn joined the GVWP team in 2012 after working in multiple roles in the custom trade show and museum business for 14 years.
Our commitment is to increase customer satisfaction as well as deepen our commitment to the employees who make the business run smoothly. We look forward to serving existing and new customers at a higher level for many years to come.
